Imre Van Opstal

Imre Van Opstal is an internationally recognized choreographer, director, and performing artist whose work spans contemporary dance, fashion, film, and large-scale productions. After performing with renowned companies including Nederlands Dans Theater and Batsheva Dance Company, she developed a distinctive choreographic practice that moves fluidly between stage, fashion, and visual culture. Her work has been created for institutions such as Nederlands Dans Theater, the Royal Swedish Ballet and l'Opera de Paris, while her collaborations include Dior, Fendi, Iris van Herpen, RY X, Lykke Li, Studio Drift, Isamaya Ffrench and FKA Twigs . Known for her emotionally charged and visually striking approach to movement, Van Opstal continues to shape projects across performance, fashion, and contemporary art.
